This is the one and only violin - so far anyway. My oldest son plays violin and I just couldn't keep making guitars for everyone I know and not make something for him. Some of the pieces came from a partial kit. The rest of the parts I accumulated from various sources. It has been finished in a forest green aniline water based stain and 3 coats of water based clear-coat. It is 4/4 size, which is a bit big for my son at the moment, but he's growing into it.
