The Ancient Kauri-Caster Esquire


The body is a gorgeous piece of Ancient Kauri that is approximately 40,000 years old. It has been finish with a few coats of shellac and then clear coated.  The neck is Maple with a Rosewood fretboard and its been finished with lacquer.

The tuners are the old style Grover Locking tuners with an 18:1 gear ratio for precise tuning. The bridge is a Wilkinson with 3 compensated brass saddles.

The pickup is a Seymour Duncan L'il 59 Humbucker for Tele. It is wired to a standard Tele 3 way switch that allows single coil mode as well as humbucker in series or parallel. All other hardware is chrome.
