Vortex Bass
The idea came straight out of the old noodle. The body is cut from a single slab of swamp ash - a fairly light wood with beautiful grain. It has been finished with a black aniline water based stain and 3 coats of water based clear-coat. The neck is maple with a rosewood fret board and also finished with 3 coats of water based clear-coat. It has an old style Fender bridge/tailpiece and heavy duty tuners. It has been wired like a Jazz Bass - 2 pickups, each with its own volume control and one master tone control. The pickups are hot and can really punch out a note.
