This is my version of the Danelectro DC-3. It has 3 real Dano Lipstick Tube Pickups, a Dano Bridge and Dano Tuners. The body is laminated from 3 pieces of Canadian Ash and the neck is Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard. Each pickup is wired to its own toggle switch so that each pickup can be turned on individually, or with any other pickup. This gives seven different pickup settings and seven totally different sounds! There is one master volume and one master tone pot. The body is stained with a deep blue aniline water based stain and covered with 3 coats of waterbased clear-coat.

This guitar was donated to my kids' school for a fund raising event for new playground equipment.
