This guitar is styled after the StratoJazzer Bass and was built for the same customer. The body is solid hackberry finished with 3 coats of red automtive lacquer. The neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard and is finished with 3 coats of polymerized tung oil. There is a single coat of Minwax Wipe On Poly on both.

The tremolo is a Schaller "Floyd Rose" unit with a locking nut. The tuners are Gotoh and all other hardware items, including the Schaller Strap Locks, are chrome.

It has 2 humbucker pickups (supplied by the customer) each wired to its own volume control and a common "push-pull" tone control. The push pull switch controls the neck pickup and switches between single and double coil configurations.
