Hackberry TeleCoaster

This particular Tele is made from a solid single piece of Hackberry with a more natural finish. I applied one coat of clear gel varnish, more to seal the grain than anything. Then I applied one coat of medium Danish Oil. I topped it off with 3 coats of polymerized Tung Oil. I think it looks awesome.

The neck is maple with a maple fingerboard with a Vintage 7.25 inch radius and medium frets. The nut is custom cut from Buffalo Bone.

It has a Vintage '53 Tele bridge pickup and a Vintage '59 Humbucker in the neck position. Pickups were custom made by Mike Turk.

The tuners are the new style Grover Locking tuners with an 18:1 gear ratio. The bridge is a Wilkinson Tele bridge with compensated brass saddles. All hardware is chrome and it is wired like a standard Tele.
