I used my 65 Mustang to make a template for this guitar, and then reduced the size by about 5%, and also offset the body contours a bit more. The body is laminated from 4 pieces of solid maple. It is finished with a Peacock Blue aniline water based stain and 3 coats of water based clear-coat. The neck is maple with a rosewood fret board and is also finished with a water based clear-coat. It has a single humbucker pickup, one volume and one tone control. It has a Les Paul type tailpiece and fully adjustable bridge. Tuners are Gotoh.
