Tele-Coaster

This is my version of the Fender Telecaster. I have never really been a fan of the Telecaster (you can blame that on Bruce Springsteen) but then a short while ago a friend sent me a Roy Buchanon MP3 and I feel in love with the tone. And now that I have built and played one my opinions of the Telecaster have completely reversed.

The beauty of the Telecaster is in its simplicity... And I love that in a guitar.

Features of this guitar include a solid  Hackberry body finished in a medium Danish Oil and one coat of clear/amber poly, a Maple neck with maple fingerboard and a truss rod that adjusts at the head. It has sealed tuners, and a fully adjustable bridge. Strings can mount through the body or on the bridge. The pickups are Vintage '53 Style Tele Pickups by Mike Turk from Bracebridge, ON. These pickups are totally awesome!!! It is wired like a standard Tele.
